hey, has anyone done this yet? how hard it is to wire up? or where can u keep the ps2 out of sight, and with infrared controllers? thanks for any help! or some pics would be great if possible!
ok cheers mate, i probably will do but i am offshore just now, so ill PM u if im stuck, lol! cheers again... if u dont mind me asking, how much did your power convertor cost? do you normally keep a shelf in your car?
this was put in by www.maaudio.co.uk its got a power converter, custom fiberglass box, linked to an in dash DVD/TV player that comes outta the Din. ps2 cant really be seen from the outside as it is, but also has tinted windows to so that helps
just a thought mate but if you have 1 of the small ps2s take it appart then fit it under the dash or in the glove box or where ever you wish then get a couple of RF controlers and rig those up
hey, cheers for all the help! though im a bit slow, whats an RF controller? yeah i have one of the big ps2s, but want to keep it in my house, and buy a separate one to go in my car. dont think under a seat would do though as the slim one opens up the way doesnt it? but mounting it in the glove box sounds like a plan! cheers
nah i dont think the ps2 runs on 12v, but how does the xbox run with your tv? i have heard it can cause quite bad interference? or is this just a rumour? how long does your battery last with them both running, without the engine on?
yeah i have already got the Tv/sat nav thing, but was just thinking about puttin a ps2 in aswell, its only an idea though. which connections does your head unit need? not sure if mine has them or not, plus think i will be using the cd changer output for an ipod adaptor...
