PS2 - Taking screenshots

Do anyone know if there's a USB thingy you can buy that allows you to take photo screenshots from any game? (not just GT4) and then transfer them to a PC in JPEG format?

Don't think there is, as it would have to be coded into the game, plus USB doesn't give direct access to the video data, even if it had its own processor in the stick to encode the data
