Putting in new sidelight bulb; And airbag warning light

Hi,
I've got a year 2000 1.4 8v Sport with the Mk1 172 headlights.
Can anyone tell me how I fit new sidelight bulbs?
I wanna ask before I go c**k it up!


Secondly, this morning my SERV light came on together with the airbag light, (I've got driver and passenger airbags but not got side airbags just for reference). What will Renault charge me to have a go and fix this? I just know they're gonna charge normal extortionate rates for something that's hardly my bloody fault and one of their amazing electrical mess ups!

Lol, hi mate same car here. Right first off the side lights as with all the other head light bulbs are a peice of piss to change. I did mine at night its that easy, anyway the side lights are underneath your main lights your feel it, give it a twist 90 degrees, not sure which way but it will pop round easy enough. Have you not got a manual to refer to?

Now your airbag+serv light, under your seat you will find some connectors, with the engine off take them out give the connections a bit of a clean and plug them back in firmly, switch back on and all should be fine. You shouldn't need to go to renault.

Cheers for the help, lights were piece of piss as u said!
As for airbag light, I didn't unplug the connectors, just rattled them around a bit and the light has stayed off since.
