Quick road tax question

I got my reminder the other day as my tax runs out at the end of October. I take it if I pay after the 15th of this month, the new disc will expire end of November 2005?

No, the new disc will run out at the end of Oct 2005..

That is presuming that you are paying for 12 months..

Or the end of April if it is 6 Months..

so, 01/11/04 is a Monday, if I pay then, will I get fined?

technically yes, 1 minute past midnight on morning of 1st is breaking the law, but 90% of the country queue up on the 1st!

your renewal starts from NEXT month - you can buy any time up to 2 weeks before end of Oct. and simply stick in the windscreen on 31st or 1st.

cheers, just remembered i gotta tax my car,ran out end of sept. been in the garage for 3 months n totally forgot to tax it

PS. i have not been driving with no tax, before u all start moaning at me for not paying... i genuinely forgot

if you use form, they will know that you already have tax!
