RA2 aerial question

Sorry to bring this topic up again, but has anyone mounted the RA2 aerial on the outside of the car using the magnetic plate? if so where did you place it?

Yeah id like to know this. Also Antz182 where did you get the Arial from and how much. Just got a RA2 and the signal is pants gonna need one for sure

I got my aerial through Blackspot.com themselves, cost £19.95 delivered. Im getting the car on monday, so hopefully ill find a suitable mounting place, which ill happily share.

Did you get the 2m one or the 5m one. I have a feeling the 2m will be to short??

Ive got the 2m one, but i measured the wire and its about 3m, totally confused. But im going to mount it on the car roof i think with the magnetic plate. Its going to be a matter of playing around a bit to see what i can do. If unsuccessful ill send it back and get the 5m.

ps get the 5m cable from them (same price) and put the ariel on the back shelf near back window, or put it on the side window, neither of which need to be outside and work fine

Its magnetic the aerial, so it sticks to the body work. They were meant to send me a 5m, but they sent the wrong one. Im going to have a play 2moro when i get the car, if not i will get the 5m and copy your fitment.
