radio comes on randomly ??

hi my sister has a clio 1.2 2002 and the radio doesn't turn off after the key is taken out. also if its switched off manually and the key is out it turns on and also when driving it turns on. i have removed the radio fuse and still happens radio works as normal? haven't been able to take the radio out yet as i havent got the keys. apparently when the steering lock is engaged then it doesn't come on but haven't been able to test that myself yet.

any help would be much appreciated

Could be a faulty set. Is it a standard or aftermarket CD player?

That will not happen good try though And sorry should of said that standard head unit. Just been out to the car and even when steering lock is on it still come on with fuse out. What do you mean by faulty set?

The cd unit maybe faulty. Not something I've really come across on here tbh.

Ok mate I have an after market in mine so can't try mine init might have to get an aftermarket for it unless anyone has a clue!!

Yeah worth a try. That or it's an electrical fault down to wiring
