Rapid bonus to rapid bonus scheme

Ive been with norwich union for the past 1.5 years and have been on there rapid bonus scheme so i have 2yrs no claims....I plan on going with elephant now ive got my 182 as they seem to be the only ones who would insure me.and going on there rapid bonus scheme also...Does anyone know if elephnat accept no claims that ive got through a rapid bonus scheme with a previous insurer,With them doing it themselves i would of thought they would of accepted it from another insurer.

Anyone done the same?

i dont think they will, its just a guess but i imagine its is an incentive to keep existing customers. ie only norwich union will let you use 2 NCB.

Also if you are only half way through your second year only your NCB from your full year will count (i think)

well ive got my cancellation form from norwich union and it says No years claims allowd 24mths

yeah, norwich union will just write saying you have 2yrs no claims, and that can then be used anywhere else. thats the whole point of them doing it!

i did that exact thing about 2 months ago.

2 years ncb with admiral [20 months cover] and elephant excepted it no probs.

your proof of no claims will just say 2 years so they're non the wiser.

^^ As above.
You can hit problems if yer 18 tho.. and have two years NCD. (20months).. cus' it thinks you can't be 18 with 2yrs NCD.. but apart from that, it should be accepted anywhere.
