Rattled me!

Noticed today when i was changing lenses over, my 2.8 24-70mm sounds as if it has a small screw or something rolling around inside it

OH CRAP i thought but its working perfectly.

Is thid normal and i just havent noticed it before?

I'd say that it's not normal. What make of lens? Any warrantee left on it?

No don't think it has. HSM is what your're thinking of and its a different version
