rattley squeaky gayness

my car is producing a sound like that coming from somewhere in the roof, just behind the sunroof, its not anything major, but its one of those niggley things that gets very annoying very fast!!! anyone know what im goin on about, if so, how do i fix it! got a 1.6 mk2 btw.

i have a rattley gayness noise in mine as well. Mines a 1.2 mk2 (s reg)

Really does annoy me when ive not got the cd/radio on

Had rattles from my sunroof too (valver), one of the bolts that hold the sunroof in place had come out, it was sliding back and forth when goin round corners. Managed to get fingers in gap with sunroof open and get it out. (inside of roof lining)

Reno said wasnt much to worry about as there are quite a few bolts that hold it in place, so unless more fell out, "shouldnt be a problem", and "quite a common fault".

So lets just hope the previous owners didnt have any that fell out, or looks like sunroof might fly off one day unexpectedly .

Ive an annoying gay rattle too. Dont think its the seat as its coming from both sides. I think its the whole cover over the rea speakers, big loose plasticy bit.
