I've had the b2 for a couple of years now, and it's been in all of my cars over that time.
When I got it there was a rattle from the cradle, which I fixed by taking it apart and putting a small piece of blue tack on each magnet as it turned out they were rattling in the cradle. That fixed that one.
The other problem has always been that the buttons are plastic and rattle a lot against the casing. This is something I've always put up with until now.
So, seeing as the warranty is up now I decided to fix it. To do this I took it apart and coated each of the holes the buttons go through with vasaline, then put it back together. Something so simple and yet now I can drive without a constant rattle coming from my b2.
I did mail Origin ages ago about how stupid it is they don't use rubber buttons. Maybe they do in the newer units, or the bespoke cases maybe?
