Re chargable polishers

Yes and no, I love mine (meguairs random orbital) and use it at least once a fortnight to wax the car. They are good at applying glazes and waxes but do not have the power for defect removal that a porter cable polisher would have.
Its far more convenient to use than my pc as dont have to wire it up etc but ultimatly you wont get the same performance.
