Rear 3rd Light Fix

  Renault Clio 182
Good afternoon, sorry if this has been raised before, I couldn't find anything in the forum. My 3rd light doesn't work on my 182 cup spoiler, like most peoples I guess! You can't get the part anymore supposedly...Is there an easy fix with replacement led strips, or can you take them out of any mk2 and it'll work? Any advice would be great....thanks guys.

I fixed one of mine with these. https://www.toolstation.com/led-ip65-flexible-strip-light/p43662

But sometimes it can be as simple as a bit of corrosion, so a clean-up with contact spray might fix it.

If not, you pretty much strip off the old diodes and stick the stip over the PCB board. It's not an exact fit, but you'll be able to figure it out.

Just be careful how you prize the lens out of the spoiler, it's easy to crack.

I assume you just chop the plug off the toolstation part and wire it into the stock wiring?

I did this with mine as well a few years ago.

Apparently the LED strip from a non sport will fit in the sport housing but I've never tried it.
