Rear break scrapping noise?

On my 1.2 16v MK2, just recently when ever I break I can hear a kinda loud scrapping noise coming from my rear brake drums? Ive had a quick look around the wheels etc, but theres nothing to be seen? Any ideas, if so, whats the fix? Thanks.

Sounds like you need new brake shoes mate.

couple of hundred. could be excess brake dust building up in the drums, i had that problem with the ph1!

couple of hundred for new shoes? ...GTFO.

Be about 60 quid mate.

Front disks and pads (apec) for mine, come to 35 inc VAT.

Rear shoes for a couple of hundred? pmsl.
