How difficult is it to cut into the rear bumper, for an exhaust system?

Depends what you're using, something like a knife would make it easy.

If you were using a cuddly toy, that could be a bit tricky

knifes are good . also worth trying a hacksaw blade , mark your lines out with a pen first then cut so you know it defo looks right .
