Rear seat head rests

I feel that these look w**k when they're up, but i have to have mine up all the time, as i have back passengers fairly often.

I can't leave them 'down' as this will mean the head rests will dig into the back of the passengers, has anyone ever thought about removing them entirely? and leaving two holes in each 1/3 of the seat?

Would this look worse than having all three head rests up?

Headrests arent just for looks, they help in the event of an accident. I dont think trophys have rear headrests either, but it looks gash Imo.

Yea i guess ur right, never thought of it like that, as obviously when there is an accident, their heads will fall back, and if there isn't something to lean on it'll give them serious neck injuries. True!

This is how the campus sports look they don't come with head rests. No holes in the rear bench.

mine doesn't have rear headrests and it's a 172. you should of noticed at the meet.

My headrests are in the boot, winds me up when someone puts one up....

A lot of Mark 1s dont come with rear headrests. Far better as the window at the back is quite small.
