Rear wiper parking wrong, please help

Hi, my rear wiper works fine but it parks in the wrong place, it goes far enough down but then jumps back up 2 inches and stops

Has anyone else had this problem?

debating whether to rip it out altogether

i have the same problem so have just un plugged mine for now. people have said its a problem with the uch? ive stripped the motor down to see if i can reset the park but it does the same every time. if i set it at rest flat then when it wipes it sweeps onto the paint before coming back onto the glass... tried a different motor too and exactly the same..
