Rear wiper removal

I would like to remove my rear wiper arm but don't really want to put a grommet in the hole. I seem to remember you can buy a base plate from renault which doesn't have the cut out for the wiper. Does anyone know the part number if this does exist.

Please note there is a possibility this may have been a dream.

i seem to remember one as well although iirc it wasnt a UK car

the clio cup racers didnt have rear wipers but i havent got a pic which shows if its smooth or not

So you deffinately didnt imagine it.......:S suppose it might of just been filler job

I am getting a blanked plate... from renault.... once i have siad item and that i can confirm it fits i will supply a part number...

its from a french 172 and very rare to get in the uk. I remember people saying that you have to order it in through renault but most staff are that dense they wouldnt know how to find it tbh
