Recommendations on good car shampoo, clay, polish and wax?
I was thinking of getting autoglym maybe?

Don't know about clay but i use Autoglym shampoo and super resin polish.
Iv heard their wax is good for the price but never used it myself.

Jaye, do you want to order online or visit halfords? If you don't mind shopping online I would look into some "detailer" products instead of "consumer" products.

Shampoo's i like: Mothers California Gold Car Wash, Valet Pro Poseidons, Dodo Juice Born to be Mild
Clay: Mothers Claybar kit, Valet Pro Polyclay, Dodo Juice clay
Wax: Mothers FX Synwax, because it has cleaners, has a lot of fillers and protects well.

I'll buy from either to be honest. I have been looking on the websites but theres so many different products. Thanks for the reccomendations though, i'll look into some of them. What about a polish?

Sorry i forgot the Polish.

There are indeed a LOT of products, which sometimes makes it kind of hard to find the right stuff.

As for a polish: will you polish by hand? Then look at these pads to polish with:

So the Lake Country Orange and Green pad, and the Menzerna 85RE should do the trick for you. Other shops should sell them too.

You can let us review your list once you have found the products that you might want to order, more guys on here like know their stuff about detailing. Sometimes it might come down to personal prefferance as well though (smell, easy to work with, result, shine or protection, etc etc.)
