recording real player streams

Anyone know if this can be done even tho i guess it shouldnt..?
I am on osx but have access to windblows 2000 if there are any programs i need..

You could just use Audacity or similar to record whatever is being played on the PC.

or one of these

download the stream file, open in notepad or some other text editor... there will be a link in there somewhere to the full file :0)

thats how i do it anyway.
