Already posted this in another thread but in hindsight should probably have started my own!
I have removed the speedo sensor from the gearbox on my Ph1 172, the problem I have is refitting it; plenty of posts on getting it out!
I line up the two lugs on the sensor with the cut outs on the gearbox but it will only go in so far, I can still just see the blue o-ring so it clearly isn't in far enough and there's only so much pushing that I can do without breaking the damned thing. I thought that I should also hear a click when the lugs of the sensor locate.
The new sensor is identical in size to the old one.
Anyone else had this issue or know of a solution please?
