Removing bump strips.

Ive read a few threads about this and they havnt really helped.
so does anyone know how to remove them on a mk3 (i think look at my car pic).

Mk2 ph2, and they just slide off. Push the front strip toward the back of the car and vice versa.

Usually the backs are fine, the fronts need a bit more force and it may be held on with a screw(behind a plastic bung at the end of the door behind the strip).

Well, to update.. ive got all the strips off except one.. and i just cant get it off, its the front passanger side one. anyadvice guys need ya help on this one

It should just be a case of remove the screw and then push the strip towards the front of the car. If that's not working I don't know what to suggest.

If you open up the door and look near the locking mechanism you'll see a plastic grommet about the size of two pence coin, it's under that. Smallish torx screw.

O ... well ive actually taken that off and its a plastic clip thats the same as the others on the strip.

Finally done it ! Woo :D had t snap the lil clip thing but i can always glue it back on so it all good :)

I got mine of my phase 2 there this morning, bit of brute force and ignorance and they were off, only my dad thought he'd take the screw driver to the car, so not only am I getting the bumps sprayed, now I need to get the car sprayed. Parents eh? Lol.
