Removing front seats??

Get underneath, the nuts are under the exhaust heatshield in the middle & behind some rubber bungs for the outside ...

They bolt down through the floor. Look through my Cup project thread & theres a how to in there :)

Some will say yes due to the risk of the side airbag's in the seats going off, but many on here don't bother.

Looking to give my car a good clean. I thought maybe the airbags would go off as i presume thats what the wires under the seats are for but no seat airbags.

If you've no seat airbags then they're seatbelt pre tensioners.

Either way, you'll be fine dude.

No problemo. Anything to help someone that knows how to clean an interior properly! (I also remove seats, everyone thinks i'm a freak! lol)

Yeah I know.

I did my MR2 the other day and ended up removing the carpet as there were bits I couldn't get the hoover nozzle to reach! lol!!

Keep the car another year so going to clean it properly with a wet vaccum. Searched the forum and the vax's are favourite but costly so im going to hire one.
