Removing petrol cap/flap

  Titanium 182
I'v obtained a spare petrol flap as I chipped some paint off my old one.

But I can't fit it !

There are two bolts holding the old one on but they have like plastic sheathing around them so I can't get a spanner/socket on the bolts ?!?

How do I get around this ? :rasp: :approve:

Thank you in advance !

take a blowtorch to the plastic sheathing JOKING

Try using a stanley knife or sandpaper to get rid of the sheathing.

glanced at mine when i fuelled earlier - the bolts look captive - are there not nuts on the other side of the panel?
