removing rear windows help,asap!

having a mare this morning im tryin to remove my rear windows on my mk1 3 door, and the bolts just keep spinning any1 got any tips for me

U may have a real prob here - the bolts could be chewed and de-threaded - u may have to get brutal and prise the things out wit a hammer - then get a bigger bolt with washer behined it to secure the thing back in- i had something similar in me valva where i had to do this but it worked - if you dont mind a bit of bent metal! Also try tightening it back up again and trying once more but slowly! dont make the situation worse!!! theres not much you can do in this situation!

cheers mate, its a pain in the arse cuz theres no way of holdin the caps on the outside!

get a mate, to stand outside.. get a screw driver coat the end with insulation tape and then prize very gently while trying to unscrew. It may work.

the idea with the insulation tape is a goodun too - make sure it doesnt come off and make sure you dont whack the window if ya slip - bit obvious really!
