Always use Tardis before claying.
Does that work better than AG Intensive Tar Remover?
easiet way is to use a heat gun and scraper to remove tar strips, then your left with glue residue, to remove the glue youl need to thoroughly soak a rag in some white spirit and dampen and blot the glue patches, leave for 30 secs so the thinner brakes down the glue then scrub away, cheapest and best way.
Hairdryer and chisel simples
Where does everyone buy the tardis stuff? Googled it just now and got discussions about it. Brought a clay bar the other day and just came across this thread. any help would be awesome. thanks.
Large tin? I thought it would come in a spray bottle tbh. Will now look, thanks.
Why am I not surprised, coming from a Corsa driver.
Tardis followed by claying. Otherwise your clay will come out black and you are likely to have rubbed bits of clay all over your paint work.
Spray Tardis (or ITR if you've already bought it) over the panel (all panels below the window line, to be sure). Wait for a 30 seconds (make sure it doesn't dry), then wipe off with an old MF.
so just spray it on, leave it for a minute and then wipe off or hose off?
will claying remove all the tar or is it better to use ag intensive tar remover first before claying?
was looking at tardis but already bought the autoglym, should i use it just on the panels with visible tar spots?
Does that work better than AG Intensive Tar Remover?
JD - Woa easy, have read but seemed to miss the word 'Autoglym'. Have a nice coffee.
