Removing the rear wiper

Ok so i've read the guide about using the 17mm and 13mm spanner... but i dont really know what is supposed to be happening, when the screw starts to touch the 17mm spanner, the spanner just like pops out from holding the screw and nothing seems to be happening!?

any advice?!

or anyone in kent wanna come do it for me if I throw some money your way?

Which part are you stuck on mate? I just used a pair of grippers and twisted that metal thing that the wiper sits on if that's what you mean.

I've got step by step pictures of what I did if you need any more help matey

Advice: saw it off. Done!

I don't think it will pass an MOT without it. That's why I did it this way so I can put it back on

Dan I know what you're on about! (I think!) Because I have the same problem.. Is your rear wiper basically stuck on? You can get the nut off the thread but the wiper will not come off?

Honestly mate, just twist the wiper and it'll come off, then have a look at that photo I posted earlier, that's what the wipers actually attached to. Pull that off and then you can remove the wiper plate, under that is another nut though
