Replacement Filter Element

Was thinking of replacing the air filter element in the standard box with a new one. Just wanted to know if there's going to be any noticeable difference in the sound and if its a worthwhile addition?

i have a pipercross induction kit. and its getting warm out now so i wanted to put the origional box back on. i bought a pipercross airbox element. and put it all on. sounds standard was mortified. and put the induction kit back on . haha
