Replacing Pads......

Car  White Sti Hatch
Righgt my front pads are shot as its causeing the wheel to wobble so going to obv replace them but is it worth while or pointless to replace the discs also ?

Theres no aftermarket discs around for the Mk3 that i can find so it would be standard reno pish going back on, current ones have only seen 36K

Don't know what mk3 prices are like, but to change my front pads and disc's its £56 for parts which in my opinion answers it's own question. So i change both.

Wheel wobble will be warped discs.

I personally change the whole lot together anyway.

As far as im aware it will be havent a scoobie if the old owner had changed them at all, there reno pads so my guess is he never.

Why you ask ?

Cause i changed mine about 1k ago at 17k miles LOL..

I must rattle my brakes as they were almost down to the metal !!

Meh ill stick the Mintex stuff in for now itll do prob wont have it long enough to uprate the stuff ne way !

Are mintex ok?
Thinking of doing mine, No need on mine for uprated ones.
Discs and pads for mine £38.61 +9.99 post

Stuff appeard today....

Pads came with 4 10mm screws in the box too...im confused about them !

Also not so promising on the boxes is there for Nissan ! better be same fitment

Changing the discs every time you change pads is unnecessary. A set of discs should last several years under normal use. I change my discs every 60,000 on my taxi. Depends how thin they get and if they end up with a huge ridge on them.
