any one out there with a stickey rev counter that works wen you push the plastic screen its on a 1.8 16v by the way need sum help

I have it will read 0 then you drive and go upto about 3000 stay there for ages if i press the screen it works, but after about 20 mins it starts working normal until the car has been stood enough for the engine to go cold ie overnight then next morning goes back to sticking again i have no idea why it does this i just live with it i only bought the car in may and it only started doing this when the weather got cold i wonder if the weather could cause it ie temp.

i think iv sussed it guys iv took the clocks out and peeled back the facia seems the glue has come unstuck a little bit of trusty loctite and she is fine hope it works on yours mate

used to do it in my old RT. I was gonna strip the dash but neva got round to it before it was sold!
