Road angel

Road Angel Classic

Road Angel 2
Road Angel 2 Compact

Classic is smaller and will have less features of the Road Angel 2 but is much cheaper.
Road Angel 2 is about to get a software upgrade which gives it loads more features (like speed limit advice etc..)

Compact doesn't pick copper with vans as std. RA2 does, although some will say that by the time it has picked it up, you have probably been done. Hard to be sure i guess. I have just bought a RA2.

go for the compact one mate, has all the same features as the big one, bit looks alot less cluttered on your dash board.. i wouldnt bother with the laser detector as once it picks up the van, the police have got your speed about 0.8 seconds later, which is about your reaction time to hearing the RA bleeping, by which time they have caught u speeding.. great bit of kit for using roads you have never been on before, just make sure you keep it up to date..

dont buy a camera detector if your only true reason for buying one is to pick up the mobile vans mate...

coz as laser is not a static (is that the right word im thinking of?) camera, it ONLY gets detected when its being used... e.g. if ur in a line of traffic and the person a few cars in front of you gets zapped, your detector will pick up the scatter from the laser bouncing off the car...

HOWEVER... if your that car in the front of the line of traffic and he targets you, sure it will go off saying theres a mobile van somewhere, but by then its too late, its just giving you a warning you've probably got 3 points in the post.

what you need for these is an LT400, made by a company called comtech.
