Roof Dent

  S2000
I went to see a Mk1 1.8 16v today and there was a slight dimple dent, about 3 inches across) next to the sunroof. I just wondered if there is any way in which these dents can be sorted?

Should be sortable by PDR, any pics?

LOL, no as I forgot to take my camera  . Really annoyed now as there are loads of things I could do with pics of to try and work out the probs.

BTW, what is PDR?

ok on the valvers they are prone to do this once they are lowered...as the roof is week because of the sunroof.....you may be able to get it sorted but i can guarentee you that it will just happen again..

the only way to get around this problem is to get your sunroof removed and have a plate welded in and resprayed

lol, I was thinking myself that it sounded like a heap due to all the questions I was asking.

It does have some problems which are (all I know of) oil leak, dent in roof, loom chopped a bit, tracking is out, sunroof leaks and the sills starting to rust (the wee rail type bits at the bottom of the sill). It doesn't sound great put like that but it's only about £500 and I could easily break it for more than that if worst came to worst as it's got alloys, suspension kit and the rest of the standard valver stuff. Also, I reckon most of the problems are fairly easily sorted and things like the dent in the roof don't bother me that much.

theres a decent black valver in the for sale section for £600, sounds better than the one you've seen :)

Yeah I know, I was PM'ing him on williamsclio but the problem is that he is quite a bit away from me and I wouldn't want to go all the way there to find out it wasn't really what I was wanting.
