how do i fit one of these ? do i have to take the 2 big allon key bolts out then take away that whole metal bit , if u get my jibberish

if youre talking about just replacing the plastic bit that spins making contact with the dis cap, it just pulls off and you stick the new one on, it only fits one way. If however youre talking about the bit that the rotor arm fits onto ie the metal rotating bit, its a bigger job I believe and you need more advice which I cant give as its got a lot to do with the timing of the car. Bear in mind though this was for a 92 stylee Clio im talking

im on about replacing the whole rotor arm including the little plastic bit , i tried just pulling the old one out but it doesnt seem to budge !

Gently ease it off using a screwdriver, doesnt need a lot of force just a budge to start it moving

there either bonded or use as circlip. If its bonded prise it off till the bond breaks and fit new one.
