router for xbox 360

im currently on wanadoo using there crappy usb modem.wanna get on xbox live with the nex 360.i know best way is to use a router but most i look at seem to be wireless.(can i still plug ethernet cables into these as i dont wanna spend £60 on wireless xbox adaptor). how much should i be paying for a router non wireless that i can connect to my laptop(my only pc)and the 360.any recommendation?or would i be better going for a wireless 1 so i can use my laptop wireless....??

ive got a bt voyager 2100, it has 4 ethernet ports and a wirless adaptor on it have the best of both worlds
