You can buy brand new unit for £166 which includes licence.
a licence for a second hand unit is £82 and second hand units regularly go for over £100
How does that make sense ????????????

I think you're forgetting that you get whatever you pay for the module back when it comes to re-selling.

You map your car £100 all in
You sell rs tuner for £110

As a couple of guys have said ... you only need the tuner to map the car, effectively the remap is the cost of the License @ £50 from Fastchip ... you buy and sell the tuner as required.
The only reason you'll need to keep the Tuner is if you have any repeat use of any modules installed or youre doing a custom map, otherwise its Flash the ecu and sell on.
I think its good value ... £50 for a remap. Bargain!!
