James, I personally recommed getting a Road Angel 2. Its probably the best product on the market and has proven results in all the leading magazines to back it up.

Recommended without prejudice.

I agree with Cupcake go for a road angel ifyou can afford much more reliable

I have heard this one is excellent too - cant it also warn of other things such as the actual speed limit and approaching road hazards?

Word of warning though, with the EXCEPTION of these GPS based units it seems the government is likely to ban all other types of speed trap detectors.

Just noticed that the new Road Angel has a laser detector too - interesting to see how a ban would affect that!
