just water and a sponge mate, get tree sap on cars at work all the time.

Fines as long as it is fresh and washed off quickly and on waxed/protected paintwork. Allowed to bond on and washing alone won't work.

I'm so happy, two really sappy trees in my garden have been chopped down. No longer do I wash my car one day only to find it in the same condition as the day before!

It was bad I'd have to wash my windscreen everyday before driving off.
