hi can anyone help me im trying to find somewhere or someone that knows where to get one from iv been looking everywhere and its starting to wind me up,

please help with any info at all

Its bloody terrible.

The system is really outdated, pointless attempting to source and install.

You can/could get the dash top from renault and fit a better system into that.
The old carminat system could be updated using LOL CD-Roms but its miles behind even a £80 tomtom.

yeah was thinking of getting the top dash but i want to keep the display to show temp and stereo info if its possible unless there is a way of showing that info on a sat nav screen????

They are about to release the new version carminat in cooperation with tomtom.

Its £450 option on the RS200.

The optional unit is flawed as you can not put postcodes into it, even with a 2008/09 disc you still can't put them in. Apart from it looking nice in the car (as already said) it's not really all that.

gutted well im going to get a top dash surround that would be there if i had sat nav and then put my own sat nav in place of it, the only thing is trying to find one lol

Yeah finding one in a breakers will be pretty impossible, other than that renault will sell you one, it'll be expensive though (price is on here somewhere)
