SatNav/Road Angle combined unit

We have a nav unit at work with built in speed camera locations called an indago, it's made by snooper. Seems ok for nav but only does fixed cameras and known mobile sites. It doesnt have radar detectors etc so is only as good as the info from the updates you get when you plug it in to the pc.

I'll have a look.

Really need one that does mobile cameras as well as fixed, wasn't sure if they exist yet along with a standard sat nav unit.

The Tom Tom database includes mobile locations as well. Most units are doing away with built in Laser incase they ban the units.

It has mobile locations on it but there will be some that will slip through the net.

Bottom line is don't speed and/or be mindful of what speed you are doing and the road around you. In all the years I've been driving I'm yet to be caught over the limit on a motorway or dual carridgeway. That's not to say I travel at bang on 70 or under at all times but common sense suggests that if you're sat at 95+ for extended periods you're asking for points IMO.

Ah ok, it's the laser bit that is required.

I'll have a look.

It's not for me, it's for a mate with an F360 - not that he speeds.

Comment wasn't directed at you personally, it was a general comment about speed detectors. If he saves it for the track and watches his speed on the road he wont need one at all. If he says it's "just in case" I'd suggest someone who can't monitor their own speed probably shouldn't be driving a car with that kind of performance on a public road.

Even you've been caught speeding though ;)

A speed detector would have made no difference in that instance, a black unmarked car hidden in traffic isn't quite the same as failing to see a fixed camera or vehicle (usually covered in reflective stickers) in a static location. Not that I'm bothered as i took my 3 points paid my fine and got on with it. They're off my licence now anyway.
