I find the pe2s a lot better. Didnt like the contis and scrubbed the fronts in less than 6k. I assum with it been sh*t weather now they will wear less in the wet as i wont be driving so fast. Should see these to 8k then i recon.
Right. The PE2s are a bit hairy for the first couple of hundred miles!
Ive done about 80 miles of country lane driving (my work commute) and a 250 mile round trip to Birmingham, and now these tyres are showing their true colours!!!
They are a bit noisy at the limit of grip, but totally progressive!
Verdict - Better than both Contis and Toyos. End of!!! The only other trye that comes close is the Goodyear GSD3s, but I reckon these are better esp in the dry.
^^^ I found the GSD3s gripped really well and I couldnt get them screaching no way as easily as the contis which Ive come back to. Less grip but better at higher speeds and I find they dont have the slightly scary side movement/correction through the corners as the F1s. Might have to try the PE2s next, my mate has them on his 182 and says they are top dog.
