Serious question

Does anyone know what 1/4 mile time I should expect to get at the Pod?
My car is a 1.2 16v MK2 ph2.
Just want to know what to aim for.
and I dont think it will be quite as bad as a day tbh.

yeah 18`s is what id say. my mate has a 1.6 polo that did around 18 but they also weigh a ton compered to the clios.

Brain did an 18.032 and i did an 18.036 (something like that, both 18.0)

erm, i was decat, filter, no rear seats on 17's, Brian was same with 15's IIRC

Iv gonna take the rear seat and spare wheel out and iv got a pipercross induction kit and powerflow backbox. and I only weigh 9 stone atm.
I will be on my 7.5" front and 9" rear 16" Borbet a's though.

Judge it by your first couple of runs imo.

I found it very slippery because of the whatever (I think its water but didn't look like it) they put near the startline, the more serious guys were doing burnouts on them, so I assume it helps with heat. My mates and I just avoided it on road tyres.

Try at 3k to start with I'd say and see if you get wheelspin, then adjust as necessary. I think mine were between 3-4k revs as it was a cold day, I just backed off the tiniest bit when I could feel them spinning then when I felt like it'd got traction, I floored it.

You might be better off changing to your standard wheels if you still have them, I felt like the borbets were too heavy
