service and airbag light + big problem

as above the two lights are on. and when theyre on the car is short on power (NOT limp mode) the car cut out yesterday and even the hazards wouldnt work but about 1/2 minute later it was all fine :S
any ideas?

oh the lil light on the battery is not on! could the battery be buggered or something else?
