servicing in essex?

Hi all just joined. I am about to pick up my 59 plate RS200 and wondered if anyone knew of any good independant Renault specialists where I can get the car looked after and buy a few bits for it? I live in Essex, near Lakeside shopping/Dartford bridge

hi sparxman, do you have any pics of the new car?, best to come along to a few meets you will get all the advice and help you need, plenty of service options about just dont use renault romford, took my blue car in to have the engine stabiliser mount changed, before the warranty expired and they changed the engine mount instead, then they tell me it has an oil leak between the engine and gearbox, at the time only done 12k miles, took it to lookers at chelmsford, no oil leak found but changed stabiliser and door seals under the warranty but i have a feeling that the renaultsport man mat maybe moving to lookers colchester. i think if you check the dealer reviews on here that a renault sevice garage is local to you and is supposed to be goodhttp://www.twotechs.co.uk/

I'd go with this 100%, been using Mark for years on my current 200 and previous 172, will never go anywhere else tbh :approve:

Ok thanks fellas, I will get in touch with Mark Fish. Got no photos of the car yet but am hoping to pick it up on Friday. Its black and has the cup chassis. Only thing I def need at the moment is floor mats, so will try to source some of them this week. Hopefully i'll avoid any probs with main dealers, had enough of them when I took my bike in for a service and things not changed that was supposed to be changed, rather give my money to a decent/honest independant.

There isnt a main dealer in the country with anyone working in it that has 10% of mark's knowledge of these cars I'd wager, especially of making them get round a track quickly if thats something you are interested in!

lol I think my racing days are over but thanks anyway! Its not about the money tbh but nothing worse than taking your car/bike somewhere and getting ripped off!

this is true but you need a main dealer for warranty repairs etc
