Is it really worth paying a mechanic to do it? Got my 48k due now, and cant afford to pay £200 to renault when I'm supplying the oil!

Depends how long you want to keep the car. Pls if you have warently.

If your keeping it so its 5 years or more old then I'd just keep the reciepts of the parts your've used any buyer in future might be understanding plus the amount you'd knock off if you need to to compensate isn't as much as you'll saved.
