Setting up an Online Shop?

What do you need to do?

Is it as simple as buying a domain and host?

Its not for selling things online but more as an online shop window where things will be sold in person.

I use 1 and 1 internet for hosting etc. They have websites in a box which are easy to set up.

I am a fcuking r****d yet i managed to set up a couple of simple websites.

Have you thought of using Big Cartel?

They host the shop for you, then if you wanted a specific domain you could just have it forward viewers to your Big Cartel page

If you dont want to actually sell via the website, then you would be better off with a CMS based setup, so you can add categories and pages, but not have all the cart features etc. Instead you could have a 'contact us about this product' link which is specific to each product.
