Shock fitting problem

I thought the passenger side felt a bit soft so i took the shock and spring out to inspect. All was fine, anyway trying to put them back in and I cant get the hub lined up against the shock. I need the shock compressed a bit so the bolts line up. Any ideas?

Use a bar or lean on the lower wihbone.

Or jack the other side wheel of the ground makes it ealer to push the hub/wishbone downwards.
