I was shocked today when a mk2 clio went past me and on the reg plate it had a H reg,....asked my mate if I was seeing things, and he asked if it was a private plate, so doubled check and looked like a normal plate from an older car thats been put on it. Doesn't have fancy writing or doesn't even say anything lol

It'll have the drivers initals or something that means something to them some where

eg. buying D500 DAV if your name is David

Not that unusual. I want a old E plate on mine i.e 1987, but the car it was on has been scrapped so I've got to wait till the DVLA change the rules before it can be used again.

When I think of a private plate, Yeah I think it's like the owners name or something like my mates GAV sort for Gavin, but this plate just looked normal

I just think of that like an old plate he re-used. The H Just caught my eye thats all
