My clear side repeaters have arrived from Demon Tweeks today, and the pack includes two orange bulbs... Now should I leave them with the current white bulbs and just change to the clear fronts, or should I change to the orange bulbs too ??? Dunno what the accepted standard for this is!!!!

You have to put the orange bulbs in as your repeaters have to flash orange, which is why they were provided.

Cheers girls... I put the orange ones in for exactly the reason Jilly B said above, but just though Id check as I think the white ones look better.. I attacked them with my dremel to get rid of the 4 guide type things and the then just fitted in perfectly. The whole job took less than 10 minutes!

I want some of these clear indicators for my MKII, can I get these from Demon Tweeks too ? How easy is it to fit them ? Is it easy not to scratch the paint cos to do this on my Corsa was a right bugger !

The same ones (Demon Tweeks) work on a Mark 2 - I fitted them to mine. DT sent smoked and clear ones - the smoked one looked best (IMO) on Flame Red, and the orange bulbs are hidden as a bonus.

  Shiny red R32

Well that didnt look like it does now when I copied and pasted it!!

What a mess! Sorry, perhaps someone can delete it.

E-mail Demon Tweeks for side repeaters and mention Cliosport or Sylvia! johnh@demon-tweeks.co.uk

bought mine from local renault dealer bit more expensive not sure what price they are normally as i paid trade price but no cutting of wings like you have to with some non gen ones, look the b*llocks :D

lol nice one GR ;)

I got k-tec ones (http://www.k-tecracing.comwww.k-tecracing.com), they were pricey at 20 quid but still cheaper than the official renault ones and look the same. Fit isnt all that good but that might be to do with the fact i buggered it up!

-Rob

i have the ktec ones, but im noticing they are full of condensation...any ideas how to sort it?
what do the official ones look like?

well happy with my renault ones, no condensation, look good but i paid around £22 for the pair and that was with discount so not sure how much they would normally be, id recommend them :D

well i have 150 vouchers for renault that i was compensated with for having so many problems.

So i think ill get them repeaters, the 172 silver handels and a new set of rear clusters, cause my original ones are knackered and im sick of the my lexus lights:(

  Clio 200 FF

i got some from a shop on ebay for £15, dont sit flush at the bottom and the bulb holder isnt as tight as the origionals but i smeared clear silicon around so water shouldnt get in

***FAO EVERYBODY***

Im horrified at the number of people that use silicone sealant on their motors. DONT!!! It will do serious harm! Silicone sealant is corrosive and will eat away at your bodywork over a period of time!

Rtec do clear side repeaters for £20 the pair, They also have specific ones for the face lifted mark 2, These are slighlty different to normal as the catches are slightly different.
