Hiya all, just received my LED side lights, would it be possible for someone to tell me the best way to change them?
A quick step by step would be great
Cheers all
Sam

i found it easier removing the wiring before taking the bulb out , and its a quarter turn before pulling it

Hey Russ, how many 172,s have you done ?
If only it were that simple.
Its very tight down there so unless you have Violinists hands, your going to have to be careful. Keep the first aid kit handy !

just done it, took me about 10 mins, passenger side was easy. Drivers side was a bit of a nightmare didnt realise that if you take the main bulb out it gives you alot more room to work with wires.
I take it the sidelight holders just push back in and it didnt feel they twisted to lock in place or anything.
No bruises, no cuts and nice led sidelights now!!! cheers peeps

just the two Brian. Mine and another lads.

Passenger side is easy, drivers side is harder but is do-able.

And i have never twisted them in, they just push in and out on mine.

I think the twist is just to persuade it out, dont think it needs it, but helps get it moving. And be prepared to lose skin.
