are the silver 172 and 182's a different silver from each other? the 172's look more pearlescent than the 182

172 is Iceberg, 182 is Titanium silver (the ph1 came in both shades).

PH1 172 comes in Titanium silver, and Iceberg.
PH2 172 only comes in Iceberg
182 only comes in Titanium.
