because you can't, won't fit

You will need a new piece of piping that will change the bore size ( a flexi pipe to change the smaller ore to correct one of the 1*2)

thanks tez, i assumed it was something that simple, my mechanic friedn has sorted my mates exhaust and all he had to do was use a stepper pipe to sort the bore size. i assume the 1.6 bore cant be that much smaller than the 172?

You could fit it with a stepper pipe but what sthe point unless its a stainless one?

you might get away with a universal backbox

My mate has that pipe it's made by Pipercross.

Also, I have a KTR pipe and I'm very happy with it.

What's the problem with KTR? It's a 1.6 not a 182 afterall.

thats not the point lol i dont mind k-tec but as stated i dont want anything other than a 2.5" or 3" inward rolled pipe.

now if anyone who actually knows of a SINGLE pipe in either of these sizes could they please tell me, as stated before i have looked for ages and cant find one!

dont want, oval, letterbox, 100mm slash cut, twin or any other tat, just a plain single inward rolled pipe!


otherwsie as stated i will have to get a 172 box as they seem to be the only version that has been catered for with a single pipe, the other "lesser" models seem to only have chav backboxes and systems available! thanks

Anyway, my mate has that system and it's VERY quiet only just louder than the standard one.

you cant order either the 3.5" or 4" pipe for my car.

if you look at the tailpipe options the K3 and K7 are not available.
